The Rode Blimp is a shockmount and windscreen built in to one designed for the Rode shotgun mics: NTG-1, NTG-2 and NTG-3.
Most shotgun mics measuring up to 12.75” will work as well.
It uses a dual hoop suspension design to greatly reduce handling noise. Its dome offers transparent wind noise reduction.
The Blimp can easily attach to any boompole via the standard 3/8” thread mount attachment on the base.
Included is the Dead Wombat windshield to further reduce wind noise.
