The AT831b is an excellent full and clear sounding laveler microphone designed specifically for voice and works great as an acoustic instrument pickup.
With a cardioid polar pattern it offers excellent gain before feedback.
To use on an acoustic guitar simply attach it to its included AT8444 instrument adapter.
The AT831b can be powered via 11V to 52V phantom power or via a 1.5V AA battery. The battery does not need to be in place to power via phantom power.
The microphone is attaches to it’s power module via a 6′ cable.
Output is an XLR M connector via its included power module. An 80Hz roll of is built in to help reduce plosives and low frequency ambient noise.
The microphone comes equipped with a power module, a clothing clip, an instrument adapter, a windscreen, a battery and a protective carrying case.
