This easy-to-use add-on device for Nord keyboards provides plug-and-play control via MIDI over the organ’s upper and lower drawbar registers. No programming necessary as it’s built based on the above-mentioned keyboard MIDI command controls; plug-in and instantly see your electronic keyboard’s on-board drawbars be controlled by the DB-1. The device is battery powered, so it’s a clean set up requiring at least two small MIDI cables to connect the device.
With Clavia’s Nord Drum virtual analog drum machine being unveiled tomorrow at NAMM it will be interesting to see if there’s any potential for the DB-1 to be adapted for drum machine control!
